Friday, May 31 @ 9AM–9:15PM
Saturday, June 1  @ 2AM–10:30PM
Sunday, June 2 @ 2AM–3PM
(See Version Alpha’s Site Linked Below
for a more Detailed Schedule)

Taking place within DreamHack Dallas, Version Alpha is a fast-paced innovation marathon, where professionals, college students, gaming enthusiasts, and talented engineers collide. A gaming hackathon experience like no other, it will be a celebration of creative minds and an avenue to help each other in learning a new skill, compete, showcase talent, and shape the future of the fast-growing gaming industry.

A hackathon is an event where people (usually with technical backgrounds) come together to explore ideas and collaborate on projects. It is also a venue for networking, learning, and creativity. During this high-energy event, participants may learn how to work with new technologies, throw together tons of code, and hopefully finish what they set out to build.

All creators are welcome! This includes undergraduate students, graduate students, high schoolers, and professionals of all backgrounds and levels of expertise. There is no age limit for this event.

Tickets to Version Alpha will cost $50, if selected. Version Alpha tickets include a 3-day DreamHack Dallas festival pass, with the same access as a normally priced ticket ($85 value), vouchers to cover all meals during the hackathon, and exclusive swag and goodies available only to Version Alpha attendees.

If you’ve already purchased an equivalent 3-day festival pass, please send an email before you sign up for Version Alpha with evidence of your ticket purchase (i.e. the receipt). You will then be provided with a unique code to bypass the payment step of registration.
