DreamHack Case Mod Championship

In the DHW18 edition of our popular Case mod Championship, we want to encourage the growth on a community level and also encourage the non-professional modders and creators.

The goal is to keep it simple and people can participate with pre-built systems. It’s not required to scratch build a unique system for this competition. The Rules don’t allow unaltered brand-PC and cases. All contestants must have done some bigger alterations and modifications to the systems as a whole. The Case-mod competition has two different classes. One Master Class with invited modders and pre-selected contestants based from an online application. One Open Class where visitors at the event can participate.

Display

On Saturday the contestants from the Master Class will display their systems and mingle in the Fan Zone. Here the judges and sponsors will be presented on stage.

The time in Fan Zone also acts as the evaluation, “qualifications”, registration and judging for the Open Class. The time window for registration is 90 min.

Judging assessments

  • Overall design
  • Attention to detail
  • Quality of craftsmanship
  • Innovation
