As someone who leans into screens for fourteen hours a day and doesn’t know what sunshine looks like unless it’s in a game, I can tell you screens are pretty awesome. They’re also a strain on your eyes, make you lose sleep, and yada yada. So, that’s why tabletop gaming is probably your best bet if you still want to play inside all day but without the sore eyes. You already knew that, but now I can tell you what you’ll win and how to get involved if you swing by Tabletop Freeplay.
Before I do that, just want to refresh you on the fact that Tabletop Freeplay is a huge board game library where you can pick out a game to play with your friends, or make a few new ones while trying out a new game.
And I just want to say more thing before I tell you about…I’m kidding. The facts:
Magic the Gathering $5,000 Tournament & All Weekend Tournaments
DreamHack and Cascade Games present the DreamHack Atlanta $5K Magic Battle. Play in qualifying events on Friday and Saturday to earn points based on match wins. Go 4-0 in any qualifying event to instantly secure a top spot in the 64 person final. The 64 person final on Sunday will consist of all 4-0 players and the top point earners to fill out the field to 64.
Format for the 64 player final on Sunday will consist of 8, 8 person draft pods. Win your draft pod to secure a spot in the top 8. The top 8 players will compete in a new draft pod to determine the Champion, their share of the $5K prize pool, and to secure an invite to Pro Tour Cleveland.
All scheduled events except Mini Masters earn qualifying points. League play does not earn qualifying points. Scheduled events will be 4 rounds and the prizes are awarded per player.

- Players who go 4-0 Qualify for the Sunday 5K Battle and receive 30 Bonus Tix!
Weekend Magic League $40
Get a Planeswalker Preconstructed Deck (includes 2 booster packs) and play with other League players. Each time you play you get more cards for your deck. Includes free entry into all Standard, Modern, and Legacy events.
Fast Format events are single game 20 minute matches.
