Game(s): Lightborne
Long ago, humanity received a gift from the gods known as the Divine Prism. The Divine Prism was a source of pure light embodying truth and knowledge, and filtered divine light into forms that humanity could comprehend and safely use. With this power, humanity prospered for centuries. Towns grew large and technology advanced. Cities prospered and culture thrived. Yet, this harmony did not last long. As the humans’ greed for the power of the prism grew, fractures started to form on the prism’s shell. They grew wider. Deeper. Until one day the prism shattered – its pieces sent to the corners of the human realm, buried under the rubble of the ruins of what once was. The Gods were not amused. Their task for Lyra (you), a young goddess in training? “Collect and return the pieces of the divine prism, for the humans do not deserve it. A chance to use its powers may prove you have the responsibility needed to become a full goddess.” As Lyra, you will collect the pieces of the Divine Prism, unlocking the ability to shoot light beams in order to navigate the ruins of humanity. You will uncover the hidden secrets of the prism, and come to understand that perhaps the humans were not at fault for the prism’s destruction. And you will choose whether to complete the task assigned to you, or to give humanity one more chance with the power you hold in your hands.
