FESTIVAL INFO

DreamHack is an immersive gaming experience where the community comes to life. At our festival, you come to experience professional esports tournaments, amateur and high school gaming tournaments, world-famous bring-your-own-computer (BYOC) LAN party, cosplay, art, activities, expo, screenings and more.

We’ll be at the Elmia Congress & Concert Hall in Jönköping, Sweden.

We’ve got a fleshed out Travel page with multiple modes of transport listed. You just pick whichever works best for you, and we’ll see you here.

If you’re visiting us as a day visitor, you will have access from Friday, November 24 at 10:00 CET and the expo and most activities will end on Sunday, November 26 at 18:00. The full festival is shut at 20:00 CET just 2 hours later.

If you’re a LAN attendee, the festival is open from Thursday, November 23 at 10:00 CET and you will have access until Sunday, November 26 at 20:00 CET.

Friday, November 24
12:00 – 20:00 CET

Saturday, November 25
10:00 – 20:00 CET

Sunday, November 26

We’ll be using Lobby North for the full duration of the festival. However LAN attendees have access to Lobby South on Thursday, November 23 to access the venue.

Until we announce anything, consider its status unknown. If you cannot find what you’re looking for on our website, then assume it’s not yet announced or it will not be happening at this time.

TICKETING info

You might have decided to upgrade your DreamHack experience and we want to support you, so send an email to support@dreamhack.com and they can assist.

There may be some tickets or ticket types that aren’t upgradable.

DreamHack tickets are non-refundable. The only circumstance for a ticket refund is if the event is postponed.

You will receive a full refund within 60 days of the original event dates.

Children aged 5 and under are able to attend the festival for free.

Journalists may contact the Office of Press Operations via email press@dreamhack.com

The only place that can assist with ticketing is our support line: support@dreamhack.com

LAN

There is a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN area at our event where you can join in our LAN tournaments, and play games all weekend long.

We’d recommend the following:

  • Your gaming rig: PC, monitor, mouse, keyboard, headphones, and other peripherals.
  • Don’t forget the cables!
  • Powerstrip extension (with multiple power outlets)
  • Ethernet/network cable (about 15m)
  • Personal medication
  • Water bottle – don’t forget to hydrate!
  • Extra comfy clothes

You can, but only if you have access to the festival! When you collect your tickets to the festival, you can inform the ticketing booth you need access to the regular or premium LAN areas to visit your child, and they should give you a badge or wristband which will allow access.

This does not allow you to remain there all day, as there is no seating or table space provided. This is just to make sure you can visit your child.

The seatmap is now live! For more information on how it works, head on over to our LAN page.

The sleeping hall is found in the Nordic Wellness Racket Centrum. Across the road from the festival.

The sleeping hall will open on Thursday, November 23 at 22:00 CET until Sunday, November 26 at 10:00 CET.

SECURITY & SAFETY

Make sure to check out the festival rules list so you know exactly what you can and cannot do at the festival.

While we cannot discuss all aspects of the security measures we implement at our festivals, you can read more information about what is and is not allowed at the festival through section 1 on our rules page.
