DreamHack Atlanta 2022

Nov 18 – Nov 20, 2022
Georgia World Congress, Atlanta, GA

StarCraft II at DreamHack Atlanta

In the 2022/2023 season there are two competitive seasons split into Valencia and Atlanta. Each season will have open online qualification which leads into regionalized tournaments to then conclude with the main body of the competition. The regionalized tournaments will work identically to the 2020 and 2021 systems, providing the best players with an invitation to the seasonal finals hosted live at either DreamHack Valencia or DreamHack Atlanta.

The winners of the regional tournaments will join the open sign-ups at DreamHack Atlanta to play for $100,000 and 10840 EPT Points

Open Qualification

DreamHack sc2 Masters - atlanta

Participation in the DreamHack Festival in Atlanta can be achieved through two routes: Qualify through the regional competitions and secure yourself a paid trip and seeding into the deep stages of the competition, or you can register for the 63 slots available in the early stages of the competition. To keep the competitive standard that we set for the ESL Pro Tour, 15 days after the sign-ups we will accept players in order of their 2022/23 EPT results. The remaining slots will be filled in the order of application. Registration will remain open after that to either fill the remaining open slots or have replacements available in case of drop-outs.

You do not require to purchase a DreamHack Festival ticket in order to register for the competition.

The ESL Pro Tour is a circuit that connects all ESL and DreamHack tournaments.
It has created an open ecosystem that provides opportunities for players all over the world to compete at the biggest tournaments across the SC2 calendar. Throughout the year, players compete and earn ESL Pro Tour points which determine their position within the ESL Pro Tour Race in order to qualify for the EPT Championship at the end of the yearly season which crowns the official World Champion.

The ESL Pro Tour is a circuit combining  ESL and DreamHack StarCraft II tournaments which will be connected by a ranking system into one narrative that builds towards the StarCraft II Championship. With this change to our offering, we will have a more complete and simpler path from zero to hero for aspiring players, a more compelling story to follow for existing StarCraft II fans, and a much more transparent structure for new esports fans. This will be the ultimate expression of our purpose: to create a world where everybody can be somebody.
