1st: 40 points
2nd: 25 points
3rd: 15 points
GeoGuessr is elevating its status as an esport with its first-ever world tour. This series features three major regional tournaments, where players will test their skills in virtual exploration, identifying locations using only visual clues. These prestigious events serve as both a gateway to the highly anticipated GeoGuessr World Finals in Copenhagen later this year and a showcase of the game’s expanding competitive scene.
The top six pro players from the Americas region currently competing in the World League will qualify for the Major. Among the possible participants are last year’s Americas Major champion, U.S. player ‘Gingey’; 2024 World Cup runner-up, also from the U.S., ‘MK’; top-ranked U.S. player ‘Radu’; and fan favorites ‘Fau’ from Canada and ‘Orlando’ from Brazil.
GeoGuessr is a geography game where players are dropped into a random street view panorama and must find clues to determine their location on the world map.
