9 things you need to do at DreamHack
1) Collect our limited edition pins
First launched at DreamHack Anaheim in Feb 2020, attendees could earn event exclusive pins by hunting down achievements around the venue using the app. Brand new pins will be available at Dallas!
2) Make the rounds around the expo
Our partner booths offer activities that anyone can participate in! Claw machines, spin-the-wheel, carnival games, and once we even had a fully functional cannon that fired chip packets. There's a surprise every expo.
3) Try out an Indie game
Lots of love goes into making a game, and here you can speak to the developers right after your play-test.
I easily spent the entire day just going from booth to booth talking to the indie devs.
Attendee, DreamHack Anaheim
4) Game with old and new friends
Live in a different city or country from your online friends? DreamHack’s the perfect place to organize meet-ups and game together. If you have a BYOC seat you’ll get to know your neighbors too.
5) Discover tabletop gems
Gaming doesn't always have to be on screens. When you play at our tabletop area, you get the bonus of connecting with people across the table. There's something about handling the physical components too – to get the feel for the texture on your cards or to see the wood grain on your components.
6) Photobomb a streamer
Smile because you’re on TV! (But no harassment please)
Unreal. Walking in through the door and being completely immersed in the sounds, lights and culture.
Streamer, DreamHack Atlanta
7) Have dinner for breakfast
It’s a weekend of gaming indulgence and you can have pizza or kebab for breakfast if you want.
8) Esports stage hopping
Ever been to a live esports event? Then you'll know of the electric atmosphere! Pro players are so good at the game that it’s almost impossible not to watch. Our festivals usually feature more than one type of esports.
9) Party time
You don’t have to stand in line for hours outside some VIP club just to party to international artists and DJs. Every festival we feature different music genres, ranging from the classic Hardstyle, Techno, to EDM, Metal & Rock. Last year we had bands such as Trivium, Cane Hill, Seven Lions, and Kuuro!
