You must be 16 years old, or older, to compete in the EWC fighting game qualifiers. To accept the qualification trip to EWC finals you must be 18 years old or older.
TEKKEN 8 will be on PlayStation 5.
You will need a 3 Day Badge to attend DreamHack Dallas and a $1 non refundable tournament entry fee through start.gg/dhdal24 for TEKKEN 8.
You will need to bring your own PS5 ready controller, Fight Stick, leverless, and/or converter. We do not supply them.
Please plan your trip accordingly to DreamHack Dallas! TEKKEN 8 Pools will begin as early as 12 PM (Noon) CST on Saturday June 1st. We will run the bracket down until we have a final Top 8 set to Compete Sunday June 2nd afternoon.
All tournament scheduling and brackets will be handled through start.gg/dhdal24. Once our final tournament schedule is posted after registration closes you’ll know the exact time and station you’ll need to report to during the tournament.
A $50,000 prize pool distributed across Top 16 is up for grabs in our TEKKEN 8 EWC Qualifier, as well as a trip to the EWC Finals for Top 8 placements. More details to come on the EWC Finals soon.
The tournament registration deadline is May 27th, or if we hit the 512 player cap. Whichever comes first.
Yes, a dedicated streaming channel will be announced closer to the event.
While DreamHack Dallas is our first official qualifier, we’ll have more details soon on other opportunities to qualify this summer.
DreamHack is a festival full of activities for you to sink your teeth into, from a sprawling expo, a huge merch store, a freeplay area to play the latest games as well as other esport titles. We’ll also have casual stations available throughout the weekend for TEKKEN 8.
