We’ve seen a lot of new features in Season 7 of Fortnite. This doesn’t only mean challenges to the most known pro players, but for upcoming talents waiting to be discovered.
During July 14’s Fortnite Cash Cup Extra Presented by DreamHack we had the chance to meet some of them, and it was truly worth it. They only needed a single chance to place at the top of the leaderboards, and they did!
Let’s recap what happened in each region:
Europe
As soon as the open queues announcement was posted, the trios began their three hour journey to the victory. The first game featured on the broadcast belonged to the Solary Floki 07, Clement_ttt, GO Decyptos trio, who dominated the low-ground and secured the Victory Royale with Clement’s last elimination against Playwell Styrsix.
The clock was ticking, and the leaderboard standings were constantly changing. The streaming audience saw the TO EASY FOR MI, jaggy – & AML quickdett, RAK Teyzen ӝ, YT Rz Destru & niasenム, zеykoo, Misorе & MCES DKS 愛 and Falcon Refsgaard, NVD Endretta & 100T MrSavage trios on action, earning they well-deserved Victory Royales.
Even 7Drops darm. had a great play caught on camera, where his reflexes showed what he is capable of in the middle of a fight.

NA East
The northern region had memorable moments too. One of them was when the Reducs, TMP Smite & Ѕtrafes earned their first Victory Royale… for eating corn! The food-based strategy helped the American player Smite to survive long enough to be the last one standing.
We also had a one-against-the-world endgame 45 seconds clip of NVD Endretta, who kept accumulating points until he couldn’t, to get a higher place on standings.
Talking about endgame, we can’t avoid the chaotic, GODAIM OwlFN & strep trio, who totally conquered the high grounds, getting the well-deserved 55 extra points for the Victory Royale.
Another breathtaking moment we had, was the SEN BUGHADORF, Baby Nuts Eomzo & C9 Avery trio in-game announcement: They almost broke the NA East Cash Cup Extra presented by DreamHack Victory Royales record!
We had a great interview with a player of the 3rd place in standings, 33 PaMstou, who shared a few words with Kelly Link, Somebodysgun and MonsterDface, after his team’s excellent performance during the tournament.
