ASTRALIS VS G2 ESPORTS
FRIDAY, MAY 7 - 16:45 CEST
Will X-RAY be turned off?
Yes, X-RAY will be turned off, this creates a closer representation of what the player sees and based on what information they are taking decisions.
Why can I see both teams on the radar?
With the current beta setup we can only provide the radar with both teams showing, or no teams due to the server settings and is not easily done for 10 streams.
Why aren’t players enabled for Twitch Squad Stream?
Twitch's Squad Stream is limited to 4 streams, and as we don't want to choose some players over others, so instead we have built this page as the first step for rolling this feature out. It’s definitely something we are looking to get added in the future.
Why are there no player cameras?
As we’re still beta testing the POV-Streams we want to make sure the basics are working first, adding player cams to 10 extra streams is very complex. We want player cameras added as much as you and will work towards this for the next event.
Will there be live player comms on the POV-Streams?
No, of course not 😜

When are players assigned to the channels and where can I find that information?
You can already find the channel assignments for Friday’s matches between G2 Esports vs Astralis and FURIA vs NaVi on this page. For the matches on Saturday and Sunday, the assignments will happen in the morning and that information will be displayed here and on social media.
What about stream sniping?
Just like the mainstream, every POV-Stream will be set to an extended delay to prevent stream sniping.
Why is there extra delay compared to the main stream?
The delay is the same for all the POV-streams. The issue is that there are more factors that play into this, such as your internet connection plus extra delay on Twitch's side that we have no control over.
Player Point Of View Streams - (Beta Test)
Our team has been working on getting you even closer to your favorite players during these times and we are happy to announce an experimental broadcast feature for the upcoming Playoffs of DreamHack Masters Spring 2021: Player Point-Of-View Streams!
Next to the main broadcast on twitch.tv/esl_csgo, we have set up 10 extra Twitch channels for each player’s point-of-view during the playoffs this weekend. The main stream will feature everything you’re used to: your favorite talent, game commentary, top-notch observing, and amazing content.
Over on the POV-streams, it’s just you and your favorite player, watching the full match from their perspective, catching every kill, witnessing all the decision making and seeing all their nade line-ups. It’ll basically look like spectating another player in-game or when watching a CS:GO stream.
Since we are testing this additional feature, there won’t be any player cams enabled on the POV-Streams for this event, but it’s definitely one of the things we plan to implement if this feature is well received. Make sure to check out the FAQ below for more information and give the POV-Channels a follow on Twitch so you don’t miss any of the action! We will make sure to keep this page updated so you know which channel will feature which player during the matches!
We are looking to get as much feedback and/or ideas as possible, on how to improve the POV-streams and to assess if this is something we should do for all of our events in the future, so please send us your feedback at @DreamHackCSGO or @ESLCS.
You can already find the channel assignments for Friday’s matches between G2 vs Astralis at 16:45 CEST below, once that series has finished, it’ll be updated to FURIA vs Natus Vincere.
