DreamHack is an immersive gaming experience where the community comes to life. At our festival, you come to experience professional esports tournaments, amateur and high school gaming tournaments, world-famous bring-your-own-computer (BYOC) LAN party, cosplay, art, activities, expo, screenings and more.

FAQ

There are a number of public transport options when travelling to DreamHack Melbourne! We recommend organising ahead using the Public Transport Victoria Journey Planner.

DreamHack Melbourne will have content from 10AM-8PM Friday, 2 Sept through Sunday, 4 Sept 2022. Some activities may occur outside of these hours and times are subject to change.

Attendees to any event at Melbourne & Olympic Parks aged 18+ must have received two or more doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, or have a valid proof of medical exemption, to attend events at M&OP. Please read the full venue policy here: mopt.com.au/plan-your-visit/faqs/

If you are unable to make the new dates, you will receive a full refund within 60 days of the original event dates.

Tickets can be purchased online via Ticketek.com.au. You will be directed straight to the purchase page if you go via the Ticket page on this website here. More information about ticket collection or fulfillment will be released closer to the event.

No matter how old you are, there will be activities at DreamHack Melbourne you can enjoy. Certain activities will have age restrictions, such as areas, games and tournaments showcasing MA15+ content, including the BYOC LAN.

When tickets are released, pick yourself up a dedicated BYOC LAN ticket. Please note you must be 15 years or older to participate in the LAN.

LAN tournaments will run on all three days throughout the weekend, with a detailed schedule to be released closer to the event.

Request a Parental BYOC upgrade from the check-in staff onsite. They will upgrade your credential to allow access. Please note your access will be linked to your child’s seat and does not grant you a seat in the BYOC. If you want to have a seat, you need to buy a full ticket. Please note your child must be 15 years or older to participate in the LAN.

BYOC ticket holders will be sent information on seat selection closer to the event.

Your DreamHack Melbourne ticket will grant you access to all arena esports content. Seats are general admission first come first served.

Throughout the precinct there will also be plenty of places to sit down and eat, drink and recharge.

Homemade food in small amounts is acceptable. 

You can also bring a water bottle into the venues providing it is 600ml or under and made from ‘soft plastic’.

Parking is approximately $20 for full-day parking at MOPT when pre-booking your parking.

Yes, ticket registration desks will be open throughout the festival days.
