No matter how impressive modern gaming setups are, there’s something special about the old-school arcade experience. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’re diving into the past to bring a classic arcade to DreamHack Melbourne this year with the DreamHack Arcade.
So, what can you expect?
Think back to the parties that the cool kids had in primary school at Timezone – the ones where you could show off how good you were at DDR, or maybe prove you were the best driver on Daytona USA. That’s the vibe that you can expect from the DreamHack Arcade this year at DreamHack Melbourne. One of the great things about arcade games is that you don’t need to be an expert on them to do well and have fun (with that said, we all know that one guy who’s an absolute fiend at Maimai though).
The best part about the DreamHack Arcade? All the games are free to play – no tickets (aside from a ticket to the festival) necessary.
