The Halo Championship Series is coming down under for the ANZ Regionals Finals, with the best teams of Australia & New Zealand competing in Pool Play and an Open Bracket played live in the famous Margaret Court Arena. With a $50,000 USD 4v4 prize pool, and 3 qualification spots to HCS Orlando on the line, this is an event you will not want to miss. Not enough Halo? 4v4 tournament

  • Friday 2nd September – Pool Play & Open Bracket
  • Saturday 3rd September – Pool Play concludes. Championship Bracket commences.
  • Sunday 4th September – Champion Bracket concludes and Champion crowned.

  • 2 Pools of 4 Teams
    • 6 Teams qualify for Pool Play prior to the event.
    • 2 Teams qualify for Pool Play from Open Bracket.
  • Single Round Robin, Best of 5.
  • All 8 Teams from Pool Play progress to Championship Bracket.

Signups closed on Monday, August 29th 11:59PM AEST. Registrations on-site are not available.

  • Open Double Elimination Bracket
  • Top 2 teams from the Winners Bracket progress to Pool Play.
  • Top 2 teams from the Elimination Bracket progress to the Elimination Bracket of the Championship Bracket
  • 10 team Double Elimination Bracket.
  • 1st place team from Pool Play receives a bye and moves to Winners Round 2 of the Championship Bracket.
  • 2nd and 3rd place Teams from Pool Play go into Winners Round 1.
  • 4th place Teams from Pool Play go into Elimination Round 1.
  • 2 Teams from the Open Bracket Elimination Bracket will progress directly to the Championship Bracket, without competing in Pool Play, into Elimination Round 1.
  • Best of 5, until Grand Finals which will be best of 7.
  • In the event that the Elimination Bracket Team wins the first Grand Final set, a second best of 7 will be played in the Grand Final to determine the Champions of the ANZ Regional Final.
  • The top 3 teams from the ANZ Regional Final will qualify, with travel coverage, to the next HCS Major: HCS Orlando.

FFA tournament

  • Saturday 3rd September.
  • FFA Start Time: 6pm AEST
  • FFA End Time: 9pm AEST

Registrations for the FFA are not available online and instead will be taken on-site at Dreamhack Melbourne. Make sure to get in quick, on-site registrations will close prior to the tournament start on Saturday, September 3rd. Registration will open on 11.30 am AEST on Friday 2nd September and close at 2 pm AEST Saturday 3rd September.

  • Single Elimination.
  • 8 Player Lobbies, top 4 Players from each advance to next round.
  • Each round is best of 1.
