An update on DreamHack Montréal 2020

As a result of our continuous monitoring of the global pandemic situation, discussions with health officials and authorities, and out of respect for the safety and well-being of our community and staff, we have made the difficult decision to postpone DreamHack Montréal 2020 until next year.

All ticket purchases for the event will be refunded in full to the card used at the time of purchase. Due to the extraordinary circumstances, please note that the refund process might take longer than usual. A confirmation email on your refund will be sent to the email address you provided when purchasing your ticket.

We are currently exploring new dates for DreamHack Montreal and are looking forward to sharing more information with you on our plans as soon as possible. For those of you who have purchased tickets for the original dates, we want to extend a special discount to you as a token of appreciation for your understanding and patience. You can expect this discount in your email inbox once we reopen the ticket sales for the event.

When will DreamHack Montreal take place?

DreamHack Montreal 2020 will now take place in 2021. We are currently finalizing dates and look forward to sharing them with you soon.

 

Does this mean there will be two DreamHack Montreal events next year?

No, there will only be one event in 2021.

 

I have bought a ticket to DreamHack Montreal 2020 but can't attend in 2021, can I get a refund?

All tickets purchased for the original dates of DreamHack Montreal 2020 will automatically be refunded. Due to the extraordinary circumstances, please note that the refund process might take longer than usual. A confirmation email on your refund will be sent to the email address you provided when purchasing your ticket.

 

Can I keep my ticket if I want to attend the 2021 dates?

We are refunding all tickets in full to ensure the best experience for our fans, minimizing any confusion or potential problems in the process. Therefore, it is not possible to keep your ticket for the 2021 dates. We will inform you through email, social media, and our website, when tickets are back on sale again.

 

Will the event on the new dates be exactly the same as planned?

Due to content at the festival being heavily dependent on third parties, we cannot guarantee the event will host the exact same content including but not limited to, for example esports, expo, LAN area locations or BYOC tournaments. We will continuously update our website with the confirmed content for the event.
