Have you ever wanted to be a part of creating the World’s largest digital festival? Here is your chance! DreamHack Crew has been around for over 20 years and is a tight knit community of volunteers who gathers for each event to have fun, learn new skills, and be part of one of the best communities in the World. DreamHack Crew members are the true champions of the festival experience – making it possible to host our World class events.
Crew are an integral part of creating our esport tournaments, stream studio, our large BYOC LANs, main stage and much more. DreamHack Crew teams are also responsible for planning fun on-site activities for our attendees, most of the things that make each DreamHack event unique and fun are determined by Crew.
You don’t need to have a specific set of skills to join DreamHack Crew. There’s a team for everyone (above 16 years old), whether you want to learn something new or immerse yourself in your profession. Here is a list of the current teams at DreamHack’s 2019 US events.
Together we rock DreamHack’s entrance, registration, and check-in.
We make DreamHack fun! We run stream studio, panels, cosplay, Expo, attendee engagement and tons of other activities!
We build DreamHack (and then break it down)!
We digitally document DreamHack through photography and videography.
We take care of the most important people at the show, our amazing Crew! From managing the exclusive crew lounge, check-in, and food, we do it all.
We make sure the staff and crew have everything they need for a successful event!
We help run the esports stages and tournaments.
We setup, manage, and control a large number of computers for attendees to play on and enjoy.
We run BYOC tournaments and help attendees troubleshoot technical issues.
We build the DreamHack Store where we sell DreamHack and Team merchandise.
We build DreamHack’s network.
Makes sure that our attendees have the best experience ever by solving their technical problems during the event.
As Crew you are expected to work 16-24 hours over the three event days or setup days (hour requirements and days may vary by team), the remaining time can be spent having fun with new and old friends, eating as we provide free food during the event, playing in the dedicated Crew BYOC LAN, winning cool stuff from the Crew Raffle.
Crew are required to show up at least the day before the event opens, but it’s highly encouraged to show up during the construction period that takes place the week prior to the event to make sure you get to know as many new friends as possible! If you are 16 years or older and want to be a part of the DreamHack Crew family, please apply at the sign up button below!
