GENERAL RULES FOR MCC BYOC

  • The games are “Sachin Saga Cricket Champions” and “World Cricket Championship 2”
  • Number of players: 8 per game. Total 16
  • Players already qualified via in-app tournaments.
  • Walk-in registrations are unavailable.
  • Tournament will be conducted on all 3 days of DreamHack.
  • Players are responsible to be ready at the given time by the admins.
  • Players will play on devices provided by organizer.

Format

  • Tournament format: Round Robin for initial phase and Elimination for Finals
  • Players are sorted into teams of 2 players each (One SSCC player + One WCC2 Player). This gives total 8 teams.
  • All teams play each other in Round Robin format and earn points according to win/loss/draw.
  • At the end of the Round Robin, top 4 teams on leaderboard move on to finals where they play elimination matches according to position on leaderboard.

Format SPECIFIC RULES

  • Round Robin phase:
    1. Teams compete against each other with 1 player from each team playing simultaneously in a 1v1 format.
    2. Players choose from a pre-determined set of teams and face-off against a pre-determined team controlled by computer.
    3.Each player plays the batting side for 5 overs. Highest score wins.
    4. If a player wins, they earn 3 points for their team. Loss is 0 points and draw is 1 point.
    5. A team’s points are combined total of points earned by both of the team’s players.
    Finale phase:
    1. Teams compete against each other with 1 player from each team playing simultaneously in a 1v1 format.
    2. Players choose from a pre-determined set of teams and face-off against a pre-determined team controlled by computer.
    3.Each player plays the batting side for 5 overs. Highest score wins.
    4.Teams are playing in a double elimination bracket for the finals prize pool.
