DreamHack Canada and Bell renew esports festival partnership

Bell is the exclusive telecom partner for DreamHack Montreal 2018

[MONTRÉAL, August 7, 2018] DreamHack Canada is pleased to announce it has renewed its partnership with Bell as the headline partner of Canada’s largest esports festival – DreamHack Montréal 2018 – taking place September 7 to 9 at Olympic Stadium. Bell returns as the festival’s exclusive telecom partner for a third consecutive year.

DreamHack Montréal 2018 will be powered by Bell Fibe 20 Gbps dedicated Internet, connecting over 2,000 gaming systems for all elements of the event, including the BYOC LAN Party, PC/Console Freeplay, esports live broadcasts, the Streamer Studio and more.

In the DreamExpo, visitors can experience both the unparalleled speed of Bell Fibe Internet in a vast Fortnite Freeplay Area and the latest in mobile gaming on Bell smartphones, while the all-new Bell Fibe Stage will showcase presentations and performances by great talents in the gaming and music industries.

“Bell has been one of our key partners since the first DreamHack event held in Canada. They share our vision to constantly elevate the gaming experience at our events for attendees and we are honoured to count on their support for a third consecutive year,” said Simon Marin, President of DreamHack Canada.

“Bell is proud to provide the world’s best Internet technology for the world’s largest esports festival,” said Rizwan Jamal, President of Bell Residential Services. “Our all-fibre network offers the fastest Internet access speeds and the lowest latency for less lag and quicker ping times, ensuring the smoothest possible gaming experience.”
