Joe Kataldo is a composer and sound designer who specializes in producing hybrid scores and sci-fi sound effects. He brings over a decade of experience to the table having produced, composed, and sound designed for projects such as: Archer: Danger Phone, the mobile game based on Adam Reed’s hit FXX series. Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and the Team Fortress 2 VR parody developed by RUST LTD in collaboration with Valve Corp., the Terminator Salvation the VR Ride, and Odd Tales’ The Last Night, which received global recognition in 2017 at E3.

Joe is the owner of Mad Wave Audio, LLC, is a full-service audio production company for Video Games, Film and TV, Commercials. They support a variety of studios and agencies like Toyota, ROTU, PlayMagic, Gamma Interactive, Disruptor Beam and more, by providing music, sound effects, voice over, editing and mixing, and game audio implementation. He holds a degree in music and composition from Berklee College of Music in Boston, and the Music Conservatory of Napoli in Italy. In 2022 his score for the video game “Blind Fate: Edo No Yami” was nominated as best video game score at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
