Elvea cosplay is a true cosplay veteran with 15 years in the game, wearing many hats throughout the years with one factor in common: it’s been on a stage. As part of a cosplay performing troupe she’s stepped foot on stages in all of Scandinavia and left her mark in the occasional cosplay competition: sometimes as the Swedish representative on the other side of the world, but also as a hostess or judge. If you’ve tuned in to watch the Nordic or Swedish Cosplay Championships, chances are you’ve seen her.

The secret behind Elvea’s long and true love affair with cosplay is a dedication to celebrating queer characters trough her craft. Be it figures in cartoons, games or books: if they’re tall, flashy and a little fruity she’s probably at least thought about cosplaying them. Elvea is also an advocate of safe cosplay practices, a strong opponent of con crunch and self proclaimed cosplay momager to anyone who needs it.
