We can’t wait to welcome you to DreamHack Summer 2023. On this page, you will find the information you need for your arrival at the festival and other useful tips to make your experience the best it can be.
How to get there
BY CAR
European route E4 goes directly to Jönköping from Helsingborg and Stockholm and offers good driving conditions and is almost a continuous motorway all the way. You can travel directly on E4 from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to DreamHack in about four hours.

Göteborg to Jönköping: 1h 50 min
Stockholm to Jönköping: 3h 30 min
Malmö to Jönköping: 3h 20 min
Parking
There are 6500 parking spaces directly outside Elmia, please see the Elmia website here for more details on prices and payment methods.
BY TRAIN
SJ offers fast trains that travel between Jönköping and multiple cities in Sweden.
BY BUS
Nettbuss offers direct coaches to Jönköping from a wide range of cities in Sweden. There are several departures from Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö each day.
BY PLANE
Jönköping does have its own airport, but it is for charter flights. If you’re travelling internationally your best bet is to travel to Göteborg or Stockholm. Then take a train or rent a car, to travel the rest of the distance to the festival!

Are you still wondering where to sleep? At DreamHack we have a sleeping area included for all guests with a LAN or festival ticket. This area is located in Hall A and it’s an area where you can go to get some sleep; it’s open 24/7.
Are you a female or a non-binary person?
We have a separate area for you to feel safe and secure during your night, located in hall A this is a separate area for you to sleep in.

- Towel for showering
Inclusion
We welcome everyone at DreamHack, and we will be making sure you feel at home so at the festival there will be women/non-binary toilets and showers posted on the event map.
You’ll also find a women/non-binary section in the sleeping hall.
1337 tips
The 1337 tips for a great sleeping experience
- Air mattress 90cm (electrical pump is nice to have)
- Blanket to put under the mattress as isolation between you and the floor
- Sleeping bag & pillow.

When you aren’t sleeping you have to bring your mattress to your seat, so make sure to pack smart!
