FAQ

FESTIVAL INFO

DreamHack is an immersive gaming experience where the community comes to life. At our festival, you come to experience professional esports tournaments, amateur and high school gaming tournaments, world-famous bring-your-own-computer (BYOC) LAN party, cosplay, art, activities, expo, screenings and more.

We’ll be at the Elmia Congress & Concert Hall in Jönköping, Sweden.

We’ve got a fleshed out Travel page with multiple modes of transport listed. You just pick whichever works best for you, and we’ll see you here.

We’ll be using Lobby South for the full duration of the festival, and it will be open 24/7!

Until we announce anything, consider its status unknown. If you cannot find what you’re looking for on our website, then assume it’s not yet announced or it will not be happening at this time.

Join our Discord and talk to one of our reps! You can also contact our reps at support@dreamhack.com if you prefer email.

You will receive a full refund within 60 days of the original event dates.

Children aged 5 and under are able to attend the festival for free.

Journalists may contact the Office of Press Operations via email press@dreamhack.com

The only place that can assist with ticketing is our support line: support@dreamhack.com

LAN

There is a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN area at our event where you can join in our LAN tournaments, and play games all weekend long.

We’d recommend the following:

  • Your gaming rig: PC, monitor, mouse, keyboard, headphones, and other peripherals.
  • Don’t forget the cables!
  • Powerstrip extension (with multiple power outlets)
  • Ethernet/network cable (about 15m)
  • Personal medication
  • Water bottle – don’t forget to hydrate!
  • Extra comfy clothes

Soon you will be able to select your seat. For more information on how it works, head on over to our LAN page.

SECURITY & SAFETY

Make sure to check out the festival rules list so you know exactly what you can and cannot do at the festival.

While we cannot discuss all aspects of the security measures we implement at our festivals, you can read more information about what is and is not allowed at the festival through section 1 on our rules page.
