The DreamHack Winter 2023 LAN is better than ever before, this year we aim to bring you the best possible experience as a LAN attendee! Taking into account the feedback we have received from all of you, we updated the setup for our LAN halls and shifted around what you get when you purchase a spot at our iconic LAN! 🖥🖱⌨
The upgrades we implemented
As with any one of our LANs you will have access to all activities at the festival, the right to participate in all LAN tournaments and activities, sleeping area access, a powerful ethernet connection and a power outlet!
What changed this year is the table! We are bringing you a better seating experience and most importantly more space! Everyone who is part of the LAN will have a table that is 90cm wide and 60cm deep – tables are bigger for the Quiet, Premium and Legendary LAN. On top of that you will get a comfy, padded chair! 🙌

The tiers of LAN
With the changes to LAN for each and everyone present we also changed our tiers for the LAN introducing a new Legendary tier for the hardcore fans who want the best experience possible, of course we are still running the Premium tier for anyone who wants just that little more. 🤩
Alongside the Legendary and Premium tiers we created a new tier; Quiet LAN, replacing the 20+ LAN, it’s an area best suited for the LAN participants who enjoy a quieter experience while still being part of the experience they have come to know and love or they are yet to discover.

Movie Night
This year we are bringing you a LAN Movie Night! On Thursday, Friday and Saturday we will be watching movies where everyone from LAN is welcome to come view some great movies together! 🎬
There will be free popcorn for anyone who joins us for these movies and the exact times for the movie night will be communicated through the DreamHack Discord to all LAN Attendees as we will aim to start showing the movies when everything else on the floor has concluded. 🍿

Tournaments
If you have gone to a DreamHack LAN you know there are always plenty of tournaments you and your friends can compete in and that is no different this time around!
With games like Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite, Call of Duty, Rocket League, Valorant, League of Legends, and more there is something for everyone! 😎
In total, there is a prize pool of more than 400,000 SEK up for grabs across all the tournaments and ladders we are hosting! If you are interested in joining any tournament or knowing more about what we host this time around, take a look at the LAN Tournaments page here!
Ladders
Alongside the tournaments you are used to seeing at our LANs, we are also bringing something new! Weekend Ladders! 😵
Now you might be wondering what these ladders are? The ladders are competitions running all weekend where you can play one of three games – CS2, League of Legends or Teamfight Tactics – all weekend long.
The aim for these ladders was to provide a competitive environment for the players who want to continue playing a game and have the thrill of competition – in total the prize pool of these ladders is sitting at 20,000 SEK with more to come… 😉
Upgraded Rows
This week we already announced it, but on top of everything else some of our partners have been super generous and they will be working with us to provide some great goodies for anyone who selects a seat in their upgraded row in the Regular LAN!
The partners who will be doing so are Intel, Monster Energy, Doritos, PC Game Pass, Fractal Design, Bethesda, and Acer! Their upgraded rows are currently live on the seat map, so be fast and select your seat! 🪑
