Get ready for non-stop gaming and action at the DreamHack Atlanta BYOC LAN! Grab your gear, join the fray, and get ready! For those unaware, our LAN is a Bring Your Own Computer (or Console) area of the event and is the core of a DreamHack festival. Each BYOC  badge gets you a reserved seat, a port on our BYOC LAN, power outlets for your gear, and a chair. You can even bring your own chair! The BYOC LAN is a secured and restricted access area: you cannot enter the BYOC LAN without a BYOC LAN ticket.

Everyone at the BYOC LAN with a badge and place can compete in any BYOC tournament if they can field a team where it is necessary.

To compete in our tournaments, you must be on-site at DreamHack Atlanta and have a valid badge.

HOW TO SELECT YOUR SEATS

Firstly, connect your ticket. You can find the link for this via the emailed from DreamHack with the subject “Connect your DreamHack tickets to your account”. Click the link in this email.

Connect your account to the order, all the tickets you bought will be connected at once. In a later stage you can give away tickets to your friends!

When your order is connected you can manage your tickets, you can choose seats for all your tickets and then give away them to a friend. If you want to let your friends pick their seats, you can give the ticket away to them.

Once you select “Choose a Seat” you are able to select a hall you wish to sit in. Select a relevant Hall, and then decide where to place yourself on the seatmap!

BYOC LAN FAQ

There is a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN area at our event where you can join in our LAN tournaments, and play games all weekend long.

  • Your gaming rig: PC, monitor, mouse, keyboard, headphones, and other peripherals.
  • Don’t forget the cables!
  • Extensión Powerstrip (con múltiples enchufes)
  • Ethernet/network cable (about 50′)

Yes! Your table can be used for any console or other system. You’ll still need to bring your own monitor, cables, console, etc.

No. The LAN area is only accessible for those with LAN badges.

Your gaming rig or console, cables, powerstrips extensions, Ethernet cable (about 50′), personal medication, water bottle and some extra comfy drip.

  • Your friends (don’t pack them, it’ll be awkward at security)
  • Your phone
  • Cushion for your derriere
  • Decorations! All must be powered off your PC and fit in your space without disturbing anyone else near you.
  • Duct tape (solves most problems!)
  • Computer security lock, cables, and padlock to secure your hardware
  • Multivitamins
  • Flashlight to find your stuff in the dark
  • Ear plugs
  • Your own gaming chair
