For Year 4 of HCS we’ve decided to stay close to the tried-and-true format that Halo’s always had with open events where teams earn points that ultimately help them qualify for the Halo World Championship.
As with last year, tournament administration will be managed by HCS and Esports Engine/EFG and not the teams to avoid conflict of interest.

To compete in the HCS Open Series you’ll need to purchase a team ticket. This will allow you and 5 others to enter and compete in the tournament. When purchasing your tickets, you’ll be prompted to fill in your start.gg username and start.gg ID. Don’t forget to fill these in!
When purchasing your ticket, you must then also register your ticket via start.gg. If you do not do this, your team will not be able to compete in the tournament. The roster lock date of Monday, May 19th at 2:00 PM CDT.
No. This is the only ticket type where you do not need to buy a DreamHack ticket as it is already included in the bundle.
You will be required to have a valid entrance ticket to DreamHack Dallas to enter the venue.

All sections are first come, first serve.
You must email HCS@ee.gg to request a refund. Refunds will only be granted in the event that a team pass owner will be teaming with another team pass owner, and must be requested by Thursday, May 22nd, 8PM CDT. After this date, no refunds will be accepted. Transferring a team pass to another person is not permitted.

All players competing must bring:
– Your preferred wired peripheral (Xbox wired Controller or Mouse and Keyboard)
– USB cord required for your preffered peripheral
– Headset with no power outlet and a 3.5 mm plug
– Wired Earbuds (needed for Feature Station and Main Stage play)
– If you plan on competing with Keyboard & Mouse, you must submit your model number for each device to hcs@ee.gg ahead of the event.
Mixamps will be provided. Bringing backup equipment is recommended.
