In DreamHack Hyderabad, Chess is going to be a massive showstopper. The biggest comedians, Grandmasters and influencers will be setting the stage on fire with an engaging battle of wits. However, you, the Dreamers, can also be an integral part of this mega event. The DreamHack Blitz and Rapid Chess Tournament is an open to all event and players stand a chance of winning exciting cash prizes. The entire prize pool for the  Chess@Dreamhack event is 20 Lacs 

DreamHack Rapid and Blitz chess tournament

DreamHack Rapid & Blitz chess tournament will be open to all and will have a total prize fund of 10,00,000 INR 

DreamHack Rapid: – 7,50,000 INR

  • 4th & 5th November
  • Time Control: 15 minutes + 10 seconds increment (Fischer Mode)
  • Swiss League – 9 Rounds

DreamHack Blitz: – 2,50,000 INR

  • 6th November
  • Time Control: 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment (Fischer Mode) 
  • Swiss League – 11 Rounds
Reporting time at the venue is 9 AM on 4th November
Comedian over the board

We have seen comedians playing against each other online. But this is the first time that comedians will be playing against each other LIVE. 8 of the strongest chess playing stand-up comedians will face off against each other in a bid to not only win the total prize fund of 5,00,000 INR but also have the bragging rights of becoming the first ever Comedians Over The Board champion! This event will take place on 4th of November.

Deathmatch

The second edition of The ChessBase India Originals Death Match 2.0 will be held at the DreamHack, this time between two of the brightest talents, facing off against each other,National rant 2 & 3, D. Gukesh vs Arjun Erigaisi.

Gukesh is just 16 years old, has a rating of 2732 and is world no.19, while Arjun is 19 years old, has a rating of 2728 and is world no.21. What an evenly matched battle this is going to be!
Deathmatches are grueling, all-out battles of wit, speed, skill, and endurance. These Grandmasters will be tested in all formats from bullet, blitz, rapid, blindfold, chess960, no castling chess and more.

The event will be held on the 5th of November and will have a total prize pool of INR 5,00,000.
