The BYOC LAN is a Bring Your Own Computer (or Console) area of the event and is the core of a DreamHack festival. Each BYOC ticket gets you a reserved seat, a port on our BYOC LAN, power outlets for your gear, and a chair. You can even bring your own chair! The BYOC LAN is a secured and restricted access area: you cannot enter the BYOC LAN without a BYOC LAN ticket

Disconnects and Technical Difficulties
At any time a player who Disconnects can Rejoin.
If a player Disconnects before 1 Minute has elapsed AND the oposing team has not scored a goal the game will be restarted.
If a player Disconnects after 1 miinute OR after the opposing team has scored; the game will continute and the player should join back immediatly
If the player who Disconnects before 1 minute is on a team that has scored a goal AND has not conceded a goal the team can decide to continue playing or restart the match. In the event of a restart the team would forfiet any goals scored.

Map Ban Process
Bans will be facilitated through Battlefys Map ban system in Match Lobbies
Technical/Tactical rules:
Coaches are allowed to spectate but must be registered with the event and alert the bracket admin.
You are allowed 1 sub but it can not be someone from another team playing in this tournament. (Must have admin approval for a substitute.)
TIMEOUTS / Tactical Pauses: Each team is allowed 2 tactical pauses per map. They must notify the person in charge of the lobby and specify the type of time out. Exceeding 2-time outs is subject to a map loss. Technical: Each team is allowed a technical pause but the time bank is 5 minutes per map. After a collection of 5 minutes is up. They may have the choice to keep playing or forfeit the map. Teams are in charge of keeping track of time and MUST STATE WHY they are pausing.

Registration & Waitlist
In order to keep competitive lobbies players will be marked chronologically when they register and those who register between perfect bracket numbers will be put on a waitlist.
Perfect Bracket numbers are 8, 16, and 32. Players who register 9th-15th will be waitlisted until a 16th person registers and players who registered from the 17th - 31st will be waitlisted until a 32nd player registers.
WAITLISTED PLAYERS ARE NOT GUARANTEED PARTICPATION. Players who fail to check-in on time will be replaced by the next person on the waitlist.
In order to get as many players as possible admins may add more lobbies with waitlisted players. (EX: If we have 14 players registered we could do two lobbies of 7) But that is up to the descretion of the Bracket Admin.

Event Format
All matches will be played on NA servers
Rounds before the Grand Finals will be 1 game where the top 4 advances
Grand Finals will be 3 games where players will be ranked based on the total score after all games have concluded.
Points and Tiebreakers
Points from 1st - 8th: 10 8 7 6 4 3 2 1
Tiebreakers after all 3 games will be in the following order:- Highest placement in the match- Average placement in the match- Placement in Game 3
Lobby Creation
A Lobby Leader will be elected by an admin.
Lobby leaders are in charge of gathering players in the game and communicating with the bracket admin about the status.
Lobby leaders should make sure they have all the proper players in the game and that everyone is ready before starting the game.
Lobby Leaders should inform the admin they are starting BEFORE starting the match.
Lobby leaders can be handed off to another will participant in the lobby.
If fewer than 8 players were assigned to a lobby players will queue publically. Any random players who fill will be ignored in the final standings.
EVERYONE SHOULD BE TAKING SCREENSHOTS OF FINAL PLACEMENTS
