DreamHack PUBG Showdown Winter

Yes we're bringing you more PUBG action this winter! There will be two regional tournaments played fully online: one for Europe, and one for Americas. Official broadcast coverage led by experienced PUBG talent will be available from Stage 1, Dec 7.

Open Qualifiers

Nov 30 - Dec 3

  • Fully open qualifier with 384 team cap; first come, first served
  • The 16 best teams advance to stage 1
  • Four rounds, eliminating half the teams per round except r1 where we are going from 384 to 256 teams
  • Round 1 and 2 BO4
  • Round 3 and 4 BO6

Stage 1

Dec 7 - Dec 8

  • A total of 16 teams playing against each other in a BO12 split over 2 days
  • 7 teams will advance to stage 2, and the other 9 teams are eliminated

Stage 2

Dec 11 - Dec 13

  • A total of 24 teams playing 18 maps against each other over three days with each heat playing 12 maps
  • 17 Invited teams
  • Heat A vs B, A vs C, and B vs C
  • The 14 best scoring teams will advance to the Finals

Finals

Dec 18 - Dec 20

  • A total of 16 teams playing against each other in a BO18 split over three days
  • 2 invited teams (winners of previous seasons)

Total: $30,000 USD

  • 1st - $13,500
  • 2nd - $7,000
  • 3rd - $3,500
  • 4th - $2,500
  • 5th - $2,000
  • 6th - $1,500

Americas

We're expanding to cover Americas for the Winter! There will be two separate pathways leading up to the finals:

  • North American teams will play on the NA server for Stage 1, 2 and Group Stage.

  • Latin American teams will play on the SA server for Stage 1, 2 and Group Stage

  • Culminating in the Finals played on NA servers
