At DreamHack, we love to celebrate all parts of gaming. Part of that is discovering new amazing games and celebrating the creative work that pushes the industry forward. Check out our Indie Playground and get ready to have fun – it’s our largest Indie Playground yet!

WHY SHOWCASE AT DREAMHACK?

DreamHack is primarily known for its emphasis on gaming culture and esports. As a result, We want to create a hub for indie developers to showcase their creations, highlighting the innovative and imaginative world of indie gaming. Attendees immerse themselves in the gaming-centric atmosphere, forging connections with developers and fellow gamers who share a profound love for gaming.

DreamHack events are renowned for their large scale, attracting thousands of attendees from around the world. The sheer size of the festivals contributes to the unique energy and excitement surrounding gaming. Indie Developers have the opportunity to showcase their games to a vast audience, get feedback, and engage with fellow enthusiasts on the show floor. It’s also an opportunity to connect with brands, creators and build your network.

DreamHack fosters a sense of community among attendees, and Indie games play a significant role in building that community feel we love. Developers & gaming enthusiasts at DreamHack often connect with like-minded individuals who share their passion for gaming and pop culture. The festival offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where developers can engage with fellow enthusiasts, exchange tips and tricks, and celebrate their mutual interests.

Power Building: Pushing back on systemic racism and pushing for racial equity and inclusion across the gaming industry. Systems Change: Confronting decades-long structural barriers and glaring anti-Blackness within the gaming industry that prevents Black game developers from thriving
