Hi hi! I’m Akara, a Swedish artist who loves to create cute merch inspired by Japan’s kawaii themes but always with a Nordic twist. I have been drawing ever since preschool, when I realized it was my favorite way to spend time, and in 2020 I decided to pursue art more seriously. My designs are influenced not just by art but also by cozy games like farming sims and Minecraft, where I can collect, build, and create in different ways. Since last year I have also been studying entrepreneurial business, hoping the knowledge will help me grow my small brand into something I can one day run full time. For me art is both joy and therapy. When I stop drawing it usually means I am not feeling my best, and when I return to it I feel alive again. Every piece I make is created with love, regardless of trends, and sharing that happiness with others means everything to me ✨
