About

I would describe me as someone who’s very passionate about her art and is constantly looking to evolve. I started drawing and painting very young, and was very determined and passionate about becoming a tattoo artists when i got older. Unfortunately, I stopped drawing and somewhat dreaming in my early teen years due to very hard battles with mental illness. I didn’t get into it again until I started in art school, and finally found my passion again!Until 2019 I had only used traditional techniques, but I wanted to evolve more and have something that made making art more accessible, so I decided to try digital illustrating, and boy was that a hard journey hahah! I went into it thinking it would be easy but suddenly I couldn’t draw anything, unlike when I did traditional drawing. But it was fun, and I continued to learn and evolve with that medium as well, which is the medium I use most these days, but I still love picking up a regular pen and paper as well. I started Moonsteria (moonsteriastudios) under another name in 22, after some years of self doubt and continued battles with my mental health, and started to sell my art at reptile expos, which I loved! But as a self proclaimed nerd, who loves anime, cute stuff and is very into fantasy and horror, I wanted to see if other conventions would also like my stuff. So at the start of 2024, I attended my first Artist Alley at Popycon, and I haven’t slowed down since then! At my booths you can always find a lot off different fun products, and I’m constantly trying out new stuff. As you may have figured by now, I did not become a tattoo artist. But I don’t regret going this path instead, because it might just lead me there eventually, and I love what I’m doing! My art is one of the biggest passions I have, and it has helped me in ways I would never expect it to. To make art, traveling to conventions and meet so many lovely fellow artists and people, has made a huge impact of my quality of life, and I hope this journey will never end.

If you put 1 teaspoon of fantasy, a pinch of cuteness, one slice of color & a bone fragment from a dinosaur into a cauldron, the smoke will show you the way to my booth.
