Affectionately known as the “SARGE,” James C. Burns is globally celebrated for his portrayal of Sgt. Frank Woods in the Call of Duty franchise. Burns is not only acclaimed for his award-winning performances but also for writing most of the iconic “WOODS” dialogue. When asked about the character’s enduring popularity, Black Ops Director/Creator Dave Anthony is quoted as saying, “If you meet the actor James C. Burns, you will know the answer immediately. James is this character!” James is also known for his role as Masaru Watase in YAKUZA and his numerous film and TV appearances.
