Back again with a bang, DreamHack Quest is an interactive way to experience the festival — turning your DreamHack weekend into a live, playable adventure.

Through the DreamHack App, attendees can take on quests, explore the festival, earn XP, and compete with others across the globe. Whether you’re here to explore everything or to climb the leaderboard, Quest adds a whole new layer to the DreamHack experience.

Quest Mode: cyberpunk

Quest transports you to a cyberpunk universe where the glowing lights and deep shadows of Dream City await.

Choose your faction, then negotiate, barter, and blast your way through high-stakes contracts as a Bounty Hunter. Every decision has a consequence—no two jobs end the same way, and your choices will shape the narrative.

Rise to the pinnacle of notoriety and see your face displayed across the Dream City Bounty Boards. Will you become the celebrated king of the leaderboard, or the city’s Most Wanted?

Progress, Notoriety & Rewards

Completing quests earns you XP and increases your notoriety within the Quest experience.

As you progress:

– Your profile climbs the global leaderboard
– Your faction competes for overall dominance
– Rewards unlock at key XP milestones

Join one of three factions and compete for dominance throughout the event. Faction choice matters — your progress contributes to your faction’s standing and the global competition

Red Dragons

Few things chill the blood like catching the glint of a Red Dragon’s blade in a rain-slicked alley. Aggressive and legendary, this faction breeds the most feared killers on the street—even the CORP looks the other way when passing through their turf. Other gangs make cargo disappear; the Red Dragons make people disappear.

Scrappers

In the neon-lit gutters, Scrappers aren’t just a faction; they’re a survival strategy. Their core tenet is simple: the group endures, or no one does. While other factions value power or credits, Scrappers value the person standing next to them. If you provoke one, you don’t just start a fight—you start a landslide.

Shadow Hackers

Surgical and cold, the Shadow Hackers pull the city’s strings with an invisible hand. A ghosted uplink here, a decrypted payload sold there—never a footprint left behind. No one knows how deep they’ve burrowed or how many systems they still haunt from the inside. All we know is that by the time you realize they’re involved, you’re already part of their script.
