Here at Shellsea Studio, I enjoy illustrating lovable characters that my audience can see themselves having as a friend or a companion. I also aim to illustrate dreamlike and whimsical atmospheres in hopes they’ll spark my viewers to then imagine their own narratives of magical worlds inhabited by fantastical critters and creatures. I’m perhaps best known for my original character, Ptorry—a lion plush inspired by one of my favorite childhood toys. I imagine new adventures for Ptorry as he explores new lands and makes new friends. In doing so, I invite my audience to share in that sense of wonder, whether they’re revisiting their own childhood memories or simply looking for a touch of lightheartedness in their day.
