Sometimes you want to Bring Your Own PC to the LAN, but you just can’t and we have heard about that often. That is why we have partnered up with GameEffect!
Together with DreamHack, GameEffect will provide an exclusive rental service, providing not only computers, but also monitors, peripherals and chairs.

If you book a PC, monitor, and peripherals from us, you only need to bring yourself — we deliver, install, and set up everything on site.
GameEffect will notify you about availability, once all rental units have been rented out we will inform you and close the ability to rent.
You will be able to pick up your rental units on-site, GameEffect will have its own booth and once the festival map is released you will be able to see the exact location of the pick-up point.
You can fill out our online booking form or contact us directly by email. We will confirm the details with you and make sure your gear is ready for you on site.
1️⃣ Once you make a booking request, we will send you a digital rental agreement to sign.
2️⃣ After you have signed the agreement, you pay the rental fee to confirm your booking.
3️⃣ Please note: no equipment will be handed out unless the agreement is signed and payment is completed before the event.
4️⃣ On arrival at DreamHack, we will verify your identity before giving you the equipment.
5️⃣ At the end of the event, please let us know when you are finished. We will confirm that the equipment is ready for pickup, and then your rental is officially closed.
We guarantee a solid minimum performance level. Specific models and configurations will be confirmed with you before the event based on availability.
Our team is on-site throughout DreamHack to help you quickly with any technical issues or questions.

Yes, but it depends on availability. We recommend pre-booking to secure your spot, but if we still have equipment available on-site, you are welcome to rent it at the event.
You are responsible for any damage or loss beyond normal wear and tear during the rental period. If something happens, please notify us immediately so we can assess and resolve the situation fairly.
The LAN will be back at Stockholm! For those unaware, our LAN is a Bring Your Own Computer (or Console) area of the event and is the core of a DreamHack festival. Each LAN ticket gets you a reserved seat, a port on our LAN, power outlets for your gear, and a chair. The LAN is a secured and restricted access area: you cannot enter the LAN without a LAN ticket.
