We can’t wait to welcome you to visit DreamHack Stockholm 2025. On this page, you will find the information you need for your arrival at the festival and other useful tips to make your experience the best it can be.

Routes to the venue from inside Stockholm

By Car​

From Central Stockholm:

  • Head south on E4/E20.
  • Take exit 155 for Route 75 towards Årsta/Enskede.
  • Continue on Route 75/Södra Länken.
  • Take the exit towards Mässvägen and follow the signs to Stockholmsmässan.

By taxi or rideshare

You can use a taxi or rideshare service (such as Uber or Bolt) from anywhere in Stockholm. Simply input “Stockholmsmässan” as your destination. The ride from central Stockholm typically takes around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

By PUBLIC TRANSPORT

by commuter train (Pendeltåg)

  • Take the Pendeltåg from Stockholm Central Station (T-Centralen) towards Södertälje.
  • Get off at Älvsjö Station, which is directly adjacent to Stockholmsmässan. The journey takes about 10 minutes.

By Metro (Tunnelbana) and bus

  • Take the Green Line (Gröna linjen) Metro from T-Centralen towards Hagsätra.
  • Get off at Gullmarsplan Station.
  • Transfer to Bus 144 towards Fruängen.
  • Get off at Älvsjö Station, which is next to Stockholmsmässan.

By Bus

  • From Stockholm Central, take Bus 160 directly to Älvsjö Station.
  • Alternatively, from Slussen or Gullmarsplan, take Bus 144 to Älvsjö Station.

By bicycle

If you’re biking, you can follow the designated bicycle paths from central Stockholm to Stockholmsmässan. It’s a scenic and direct route that takes around 30-40 minutes.

By walking

For those who enjoy a long walk, it is possible to walk to Stockholmsmässan from central Stockholm. The walk takes around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

Routes to the venue from outside stockholm

By Car​

from gothernburg

  1. Start in Gothenburg:
    • Get on E6 from E45.
  2. Follow E20:
    • Continue on E6 and E20 towards Stockholm. Follow the signs for E20/Stockholm/Alingsås.
  3. Stay on E20:
    • Continue to follow E20. You will pass through cities like Alingsås, Skara, and Örebro.
  4. Merge onto E4:
    • Near Södertälje, merge onto E4 towards Stockholm.
  5. Take the Exit towards Stockholm South:
    • Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 155 for Route 75 towards Årsta/Enskede.
  6. Continue on Route 75:
    • Merge onto Route 75/Södra Länken and continue following signs for Åbyvägen/Årstafältet.
  7. Arrive at Stockholmsmässan:
    • Take the exit towards Mässvägen and follow the signs to Stockholmsmässan.

This route is approximately 470 kilometers and typically takes around 5 to 6 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to check the current traffic updates and weather conditions before you start your journey. Safe travels!

FROM MALMÖ

  1. Start in Malmö:
    • Get on E20 from Yttre Ringvägen.
  2. Follow E20:
    • Continue on E20 heading towards Lund and Helsingborg.
  3. Stay on E20/E4:
    • After passing Helsingborg, continue on E4/E20 towards Stockholm. Follow the signs for E4 Stockholm.
  4. Continue on E4:
    • Stay on E4 as you pass through cities like Jönköping, Linköping, and Norrköping.
  5. Approach Stockholm:
    • Near Södertälje, continue on E4 towards Stockholm.
  6. Take the Exit towards Stockholm South:
    • Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 155 for Route 75 towards Årsta/Enskede.
  7. Continue on Route 75:
    • Merge onto Route 75/Södra Länken and continue following signs for Åbyvägen/Årstafältet.
  8. Arrive at Stockholmsmässan:
    • Take the exit towards Mässvägen and follow the signs to Stockholmsmässan.

This route is approximately 615 kilometers and typically takes around 6 to 7 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Make sure to check the current traffic updates and weather conditions before you start your journey. Safe travels!

By train

from gothernburg

  • Gothenburg to Stockholm Central Station
    • Departure: Gothenburg Central Station (Göteborgs Centralstation)
    • Arrival: Stockholm Central Station (Stockholms Centralstation)
    • Travel Time: Approximately 3-4 hours by high-speed train (SJ Snabbtåg) or 4-5 hours by intercity train.
  • Stockholm Central Station to Stockholmsmässan
    • Departure: Stockholm Central Station
    • Arrival: Älvsjö Station
    • Travel Time: Approximately 10 minutes by commuter train (Pendeltåg) on lines J36 or J37.

FROM MALMÖ

Malmö to Stockholm Central Station

    • Departure: Malmö Central Station (Malmö Centralstation)
    • Arrival: Stockholm Central Station (Stockholms Centralstation)
    • Travel Time: Approximately 4-5 hours by high-speed train (SJ Snabbtåg) or 5-6 hours by intercity train.
  • Stockholm Central Station to Stockholmsmässan
    • Departure: Stockholm Central Station
    • Arrival: Älvsjö Station
    • Travel Time: Approximately 10 minutes by commuter train (Pendeltåg) on lines J36 or J37. 

By train

By bus

FlixBus and bus4you offers direct coaches to Stockholm from a wide range of cities in Sweden. There are several departures from all Swedish cities each day.

by plane

Flying into Stockholm via the Arlanda airport (ARN) is fairly straight forward! Most European cities have a direct link to ARN and then from there, simply take the Arlanda Express for a quick 20 min train ride into the city via the Arlanda Express.
