To our Swedish DreamHack Cosplay Community,

Over the past few days, we’ve been carefully reading your feedback and the open letter regarding the rules for the DreamHack Stockholm 2026 Cosplay Championship.

We want everyone on the same page, so we are reverting the ruleset – there will be no new rule changes for 2026.

Starting in 2027, we will create a unified ruleset across all regions for competitive integrity; if you apply for one DreamHack cosplay contest, the rules will be the same globally. We’ll open up opportunities to share your input as we draft future rules. While we may not be able to implement every suggestion, we promise to actively listen and work alongside the community to find solutions that serve the collective best.
